5:27 PM - The SCCA Sportscar Championship cars on course.

5:28 PM - The qualifying session will only be 15-minutes, as the 30-minute session is being split with the Formula Ford Championship. The earlier Zetec Championship was cancelled due to timing and scoring mechanical failure.

5:31 PM - In the first qualifying session No. 37 Holtzman posted the fastest time, capturing the provisional pole position.

5:33 PM - The top-three is No. 9 Walker, No. 10 Mumm and No. 16 Johnson.

5:34 PM - Five cars are taking part in qualifying.

5:35 PM - Fast time in the session is 1:32.711, slower than the fast times posted in the first qualifying session.

5:36 PM - No. 8 is now quickest with a lap of 1:31.648.

5:37 PM - No. 37 has elected not to go out in the second qualifying session.

5:38 PM - The top-three is No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10.

5:40 PM - No. 8 has now posted a fast lap of 1:30.596, taking the provisional pole from Holtzman.

5:41 PM - One minute remaining in qualifying.

5:41 PM - The top-three remains No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10.

5:42 PM - CHECKERED, No. 8 Tilbor takes the pole position in the SCCA Sportscar Championship. Completing the top-three in the second qualifying session is No. 9 Walker and No. 10 Mumm.

5:47 PM - No. 16 made contact with the tire barrier on his last lap.
