Jake Thompson heads to Utah for Round 4 of the Volkswagen TDI Cup
The Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup heads to beautiful Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah this weekend for Round 4 of the championship. Known as one of the top racing venues in North America, this will be the second consecutive year that the TDI cup visits Miller, and Calgary's Jake Thompson will be looking to build on the 2nd place finish he had last season.
Miller is also the 4th event of Racing for the Right To Play, which will make a donation for every lap Thompson completes in 2010. So far this year, Jake has accumulated 56 laps towards the program, which means $1600 has already been raised towards the final donation. This round of the Jetta TDI Cup looks to be a good one as the series will be joined by 4 guest drivers including AMA World Superbike racer Roger Hayden, and extreme skier Grete Eliassen.
