Anger Issues Racing Powers to 2nd Place Laughlin Finish
Las Vegas, Nev.. Anger Issues Racing lived up to their "go slow no mo" credo with a 2nd place finish in Laughlin, NV, on January 16 and 17, 2004. Their first appearance in Class 3, Production Short Wheel Base 4x4 brings team owner and driver Ken Leavitt one step closer to fulfilling his dream of winning races in Baja.
Leavitt states, "We stuck to the game plan in Laughlin, knowing we couldn't outrun the competition on the old setup. We just cruised around and beat our brains out - then we saw Tyler Stone had something broken up front. You hate to see a competitor break, but the second place finish was huge!" Anger Issues Racing is now a mere six points out of first place (in class) and is making a ton of changes for the San Felipe race.
Co-driver Andrew Leavitt also made his debut behind the wheel in Laughlin, and says, "The course was rough, but I had that white Bronco going faster than OJ on the freeway!" The two cousins will share driving duties for future races, and extend a warm thanks to crew chief Ray Leavitt.
