Hagener Feinstahl confirmed as partner - Baja 500 preview
Dear Friends,
Our news could hardly be better. At the end of April, Ingo Bender, the director of Hagener Feinstahl GmbH has signed a three-year contract as our sponsor and partner.
Great partners: Jens Werner (l) and Ingo Bender (r) of Hagener Feinstahl
With their engagement, we have another excellent partner on board. Hagener Feinstahl GmbH manufactures precision products like Stammcut0x00a9 EDM wires and stands for quality, highest specialised know-how, innovative thinking, entrepreneurial courage and vision. Just the virtues that we need in racing, too. Ingo and our AGM team are old acquaintances.I
Friends visiting: the Stammcut team at the 2009 Primm 300
In 2009, Hagener Feinstahl and Stammcut0x00a9 already supported us as partners in racing. Ingo Bender brought several of his customers and employees to incentives at the Baja 300 Powerdays in Germany and to the Primm 300 in Las Vegas. So: Welcome Ingo, welcome Stammcut0x00a9! Let's go for it! And let me grab this opportunity to say thank you again to all our long standing and highly competent partners!
Extra boost for the Baja 500
And so we travel with extra boost to the Baja 500 which runs from Ensenada from 4 to 6 June. We're the third Buggy off the starting line. That's a great starting position. And we'll be doing everything in our power to follow up our overall victory at the Baja 250 with another great result. Armin Kremer will support the AGM team in the second Buggy.
Welcome back! Armin Kremer pilots the second AMG buggy at the Baja 500
Finally, the format and dates for the next Baja 300 Powerdays in Germany are taking shape. After offering fans a show event in 2009 in Germany's Lausitz region south of Berling with every vehicle capable to go (seriously fast) on gravel, we are now organising a full scale race, Baja style. We are looking at a great turn out with many US stars and big-league names from the WRC as well as national championships. To organise what we hope will be a 300 mile race in Germany with all its authorisation procedures takes a heck of a lot of time. We're homing in on July 2011 as our race date and I can promise you this right now: It's going to rock Germany.
I'll be back here in four weeks to report on the Baja 500. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
All the best,
Armin
