Baja San Felipe 250: Ultra tough trial with the Buggy - Tyres under extreme stress
The second round of the SCORE championship is rapidly approaching. And the more I hear about the Texate SCORE San Felipe 250, the more my respect grows. Martin told me that the last 50 miles to the finish are comparable to a full scale motorbike trial in the mountains, with big rock steps to climb and all that gruelling stuff. Last week Martin thoroughly tested all our components again. Things look good. But our shocks and tyres will have an enormous job to do. Through the ultra rough bits the tyres will have to shoulder a good part of the springing with heavy loads on the entire construction. But from this side we never had a problem, thanks to BFGoodrich, who always spoils us with a top performance.
At the end of last year we sent our Buggy on a „European Tour" visiting all important motorsport fairs. At Italy's Bologna Motor Show 180,000 fans came over two days. 71,000 fans flocked to the Autosport Show at Birmingham, and 180,000 visitors informed themselves about motorsport at the Essen Motor Show in Germany. That's fantastic figures for us, too.
