AMSTERDAM, 13 November 2010 -- A busy schedule for Chris van der Drift. The race driver will demonstrate the Superleague Formula car through the streets of Cardiff this Saturday before he travels to Holland where he will attend the Dutch TV-show Holland Sport on Monday evening 15 November. The 24 year old Dutch Kiwi will highlight his season in Superleague Formula and will talk about his horrifying crash in August. Due to the incident, Van der Drift broke several bones but recovered amazingly fast. Therefore he was able to complete the season during the last round in October.
Holland Sport will be broadcasted at 20:30 hour (GMT +1) on channel 'Nederland 3' and is available online at www.uitzendinggemist.nl afterwards.
Demonstration in Cardiff Before Van der Drift travels to Holland, he will first demonstrate the 750 hp powered Superleague Formula car in the streets of the British city Cardiff. His run across the Cardiff Bay Barrage is set to be a highlight of the World Rally Championship street show, the 750bhp, V12-powered single seater blasting from the Penarth end to the Port and back at 17:30 local time on Saturday.
Chris van der Drift is currently supported by Ekris, Stockholm Fashion, Vision Racer, National Meats and Arai.
