FINAL RACE SEATS FOR SUPERLEAGUE FORMULA LOCKED IN FOR DONINGTON

The final race seats for the opening round of the inaugural Superleague Formula championship have been locked in. Stars joining the championship will include ex-Champ Car World Series race winner, Nelson Philippe (Borussia Dortmund); Brazilian driver, Tuka Rocha (Flamengo); Spanish GP2 ace, Andy Soucek (Corinthians); UAE-based Austrian, Andreas Zuber (Al Ain); Danish ace, Kasper Andersen (Olympiacos); Italian, Davide Rigon (Beijing Guoan) and young British stars, Craig Dolby (RSC Anderlecht) and Duncan Tappy (Tottenham Hotspur).

The complete Superleague Formula field for this weekend's opening round will now feature:

The eight new drivers come from a wide variety of fields of motorsport. Frenchman, Philippe debuted in the Champ Car World Series aged 17 and went on to finish 4th in the series in 2006. He also won the Surfers Paradise street race. His Zakspeed team-mate Rigon is a one-time Minardi Formula 1 test driver and winner of the Formula 3000 Euroseries Flamengo driver Rocha stepped straight from karting into the South American Formula 3 Light series and has gone on to represent Brazil in A1GP. Andy Soucek is a former Spanish F3 champion who has been a regular contender in the past two seasons in GP2 while his Danish Superleague Formula rival, Kasper Anderson, has been climbing the podium this year in the Formula Master Championship. Zuber is a former Austrian F3 champion and has been a key pacesetter in GP2, taking two race wins. British youngster Craig Dolby is comfortable in an Anderlecht shirt, have been a previous winner of the Belgian Formula Renault Championship with his current team, Astromega.

New Spurs driver Duncan Tappy is the reigning British Formula Renault champion and now moves across to the more powerful Superleague Formula cars after having competed this year in World Series by Renault.
