All Star Sprint Banquet Set for Dec. 4 in Indianapolis

PONCE INLET, FL - It’s time to honor the 1998 All Star sprint car championship team of driver Kenny Jacobs and owners Tim and Jean Hughes. The place is the Crown Plaza Hotel at Union Station in downtown Indianapolis. And the date is Friday night, Dec. 4.

The banquet for 1998 will be held in conjunction with the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, held for the first time in Indianapolis after being held in the past in Columbus, Ohio. Topping the list of awards for 1998 is the presentation of the General Motors All Star Pace Truck, a 1998 Silverado Turbo Diesel pickup truck, to owner Tim Hughes. Also presented will be the Georgia Marketing and Promotions Rookie-of-the-year award, Bo-Link Crew Chief of the year and the ButlerBuilt Hot Seat pole position champion.

Point fund monies and many contingency prizes will be presented to the top point owners and drivers, plus other special awards will be presented.

For the attendees, the social hour starts at 7 pm, then dinner will be served, followed by the awards presentation and entertainment. For ticket information, contact the All Stars office at 904-756-9225. Additional information is available on the internet at www.allstarsprint.com.
