All Stars Ready for Attica Spring Nationals April 16-17
CAMARGO, IL -- The Haulmark All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars are preparing for their first Ohio visit of the season Friday and Saturday night April 16-17 at Attica Raceway Park. Defending Spring Nationals champion Greg Wilson is looking for a repeat of his 2003 triumph. Also looking to return to victory lane are the winners of the first two All Star events of the season, Danny Smith and defending champion Chad Kemenah.
In an event that pits the touring All Star regulars against the tough Ohio weekly racers, several of the Attica regulars have defeated the All Stars in the past. Locals Mark Keegan, Bob Teeple, Butch Schroeder and Byron Reed have all come home atop the All Star field in the Spring Nationals.
With a full All Star sprint car program on tap each night, Friday's card also features limited late models and Saturday's event also shows the 305 sprint car class.
Prior Spring National feature winners include Steve Siegel (1990), Bobby Allen (1991), Frankie Kerr (1992, 1994, 1998), Keegan (1993, 1994), Dale Blaney (1995), Joey Saldana (1995), Teeple (1996), Danny Smith (1996), Gary Wright (1997), Schroeder (1997), Jeff Shepard (1998, 2002), Craig Dollansky (2000), Reed (2001), Wilson (2002, 2003) and Chad Kemenah (2003).
