All Stars add 4 more dates co-sanctioned with NCRA to schedule.

PONCE INLET, FL -- The All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car series has added four additional race dates to their 2002 racing schedule.

The four shows will be co-sanctioned with the National Championship Racing Association (NCRA). The first two shows added are a part of the seventh annual Thunder Through the Plains Tour scheduled for Aug. 12-18. Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, KS is now scheduled for the Monday August 12 date, with a race scheduled for the Wakeeney Speedway in Wakeeney, KS the next evening, August 13.

The other addition to the schedule is a two-day show at the Joplin 66 Speedway in Joplin, MO on Friday and Saturday September 27-28. This will mark the first ever appearance by the All Stars at Joplin 66 since the series was scheduled to appear there last season but the event was rained out.

A total of 16 dates are scheduled to be co-sanctioned by the All Stars and the NCRA this season. The dates are:

May 9 - Heartland Park Topeka, Topeka, KS
May 10 -- 81 Speedway, Wichita, KS
May 11 -- Tulsa Speedway, Tulsa, OK
June 14 -- Attica Raceway Park, Attica, OH
June 15 -- K-C Raceway, Chillicothe, OH
June 16- Tri-State Speedway, Haubstadt, IN
July 26-27 -- Knoxville Raceway, Knoxville, IA (1200# Nationals)
Aug. 12 -- Thunder Hill Speedway, Mayetta, KS
Aug. 13 -- Wakeeney (KS) Speedway
Aug. 15 -- Mid-Nebraska Speedway, Doniphan, NE
Aug. 16 -- 81 Speedway, Wichita, KS
Aug. 17 -- Tulsa Speedway, Tulsa, OK
Aug. 18 -- State Fair Speedway, Oklahoma City, OK
Sept 27-28 -- Joplin 66 Speedway, Joplin, MO
