Dewease Heads Into Triple Race Weekend Hoping to Pad ASCoC Points Margin

FAYETTEVILLE, PA. --Lance Dewease and the No. 30c Catoctin Motorsports head back into All Star Circuit of Champions competition this weekend, aiming to increase his points lead over Dale Blaney.

After dominating the World of Outlaws Rite-Aid Outlaw Showdown at the Dirt Track at Charlotte, Dewease has been riding on cloud nine, but real life interfered when the engine locked up as he was being pushed out for the feature race at Lincoln Speedway last Saturday. This let-down came after he had gained seven positions in Williams Grove Speedway's A-main the night before. "It was just a lousy weekend," admitted Dewease, describing a wet Williams Grove track.

This weekend, Dewease takes the Catoctin Motorsports crew to a rare thee in a row stretch of All Star Circuit of Champions races, beginning at Williams Grove on Friday night, followed by Lincoln Speedway on Saturday and Clearfield, Pennsylvania's Central PA Speedway for a Sunday race.

Dewease holds a lead of 167 points in the ASCoC standings and is one of only seven drivers who have won World of Outlaws feature races in 2008.
