ALL STARS TO BATTLE OUTLAWS AT LAWRENCEBURG BEFORE HEADING TO ELDORA
CAMARGO, IL (4-16-06) -- The All Star Circuit of Champions will take on the World of Outlaws again with the 3rd co-sanctioned event of the 2006 season on Friday April 21st. This time it will be on a ¼ mile bull ring in Southern Indiana. It has been described as "having 24 fighter jets in your living room". Lawrenceburg's tight quarters will make for some of the best action so far this season as the two longest running 410 winged sprint car series do battle on a short, high banked dirt track.
From there, the series travels back into Ohio to take on the big dirt monster known as Eldora Speedway. The series visited the high banks just a few weeks ago in what looked like a scaled down version of the Knoxville Nationals with most of the best 410 winged sprint car drivers in the country on hand. Greg Wilson will be trying to hold onto his series points lead throughout the weekend. Brock Mayes and Chad Blonde are not far behind. Blonde also leads the Rookie of the Year points going into the weekend.
Note:
All Star member Danny Smith recently lost his wife to cancer and
is taking some time off from racing. Please keep him in your thoughts
and prayers
