ALL STARS SWING INTO SUMMER BATTLING OUTLAWS AND POSSE

CAMARGO, IL (5-28-06) -- The All Star Circuit of Champions will enter the month of June with a bang. The series will visit Wayne County Speedway on Thursday June 1st for another co-sanctioned shootout with the World of Outlaws. Wayne County -- formerly known as Buckeye Speedway -- has not seen the Outlaws for 21 years and the All Stars hope to have a slight advantage over the traveling group at the Ohio track that the series visits each summer during Ohio Speedweek.

"I think there is a lot of tradition there from years past and with Jac Haudenschild and the Jacobs boys all in that area we think there is a draw there," stated Steve Sinclair of SLS Promotions who is bringing the World of Outlaws and All Stars to Wayne County Speedway. "Bringing the All Stars and Outlaws together, that hasn't been done there so hopefully it is something that can be built on for years to come."

Steve Sinclair has been instrumental in the idea to put these two groups together on the same tracks on the same nights. "We're trying to give the fans added value by bringing the All Stars with the Outlaws and it's been a good working relationship so far between the two series. We're looking at this race and track as a 'battleground' of sorts, that is why we chose a mid-week date so we can hopefully attract some of the Pennsylvania guys and the guys who run weekly at the other tracks in Ohio."

From there, the All Stars head back into hostile territory in Central PA to take on the Posse at the fast ½ mile Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and then they will move down the road to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday. Lance Dewease and Greg Hodnett both came away with victories the last time the All Stars visited these two facilities.

All Stars Greg Wilson, Chad Blonde, Brock Mayes, Danny Smith, Paul May, Dale Blaney, Brandon Martin, James Mosher, Barry Ruble, and Neil Shepherd will be taking on the PA Posse regulars who have traditionally been tough on any traveling series who invades their turf. The All Stars will get another opportunity to try to steal a victory in Central PA.

Abbottstown, PA is 648 miles from Terre Haute, IN, but the All Stars will make the overnight tow on the final night of the weekend, book ending the 4-day run with another co-sanctioned shootout versus the World of Outlaws on Sunday at the Terre Haute Action Track. SLS Promotions will bring the two series together again for the 2nd time in just 4 days at the Indiana speed plant.

June 1st Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio)
June 2nd Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania)
June 3rd Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pennsylvania)
June 4th Terra Haute Action Track (Terra Haute, Indiana)

Next up for the All Star Circuit of Champions is June 14th at Powercom Park in Beaverdam, WI on the way to Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, ND on June 16th & 17th.
