BLOOMINGTON SPEEDWAY 2005 SCHEDULE

BLOOMINGTON, IN (March 17, 2005) -- Bloomington Speedway's 2005 schedule follows. The schedule features regular competition of Sprint Cars, O'Neal Wood Products UMP Open Wheeled Modifieds, and Tire & Wheel Center Indiana Super Stocks.

In addition, Mid-American Sprint Series (MASS) winged sprint cars, Northern Allstar Late Models, and UMRA TQ midgets will make appearances on the Bloomington Speedway red clay during the season. Also, in addition to our regular weekly shows, Bloomington Speedway will participate in the King of Indiana Sprint Series, the Indiana Dirt Late Model Speedweek, the Modified Wolf Pack Challenge, and Indiana Sprint Week.

In addition to the great racing programs that we have scheduled for the upcoming season, the purses have been increased to give the racers just one more reason to compete on the red clay of Bloomington Speedway.

Our season will begin on April 15 with the Elliottbrand Clash. Steve Elliott designed our great website; and, in doing that, he developed a real interest in the great racing that he saw here. He decided that his company should be a little more involved in our racing program. With the help of some of his clients, he sponsored the Elliottbrand Clash last season; and he is determined that the second annual clash will be even better. He has lined up lap prize sponsors for 18 of the 30 laps already; and it is likely that all of the laps will be sponsored before the green flag drops. In addition there will be merchandise and contingency prizes. Mark this one on your calendar now.
