Ultimate Short-Track Season Ticket Offers
20 Action-Packed Motorsports Events for Just $99
CONCORD, N.C. (Feb. 10, 2005) -- Lowe's Motor Speedway's new Ultimate Short-Track Season Ticket offers 20 nights of unparalleled motorsports entertainment for the low price of just $99 for adults and $39 for children ages 12 and under.
Available only for a limited time, the Ultimate Short-Track Season Ticket includes the same reserved seat for 10 events at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway and admission to each night of the 10-week Hardee's Summer Shootout Series, run on the paved frontstretch quarter-mile oval at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
"Our new Ultimate Short-Track Season Ticket represents a savings of $131 if adult tickets for these 20 events were purchased separately," noted H.A. "Humpy" Wheeler, president and general manager of Lowe's Motor Speedway. "All of our short-track events emphasize family entertainment at value prices and, with this ticket offer, a family of four can attend all of our short-track events for only $276. That's less than $3.50 per person, per event!"
Lowe's Motor Speedway's short-track season opens April 8-9 with the Pit Pass Cabarrus Super Nationals presented by RACEceiver. A late model stock car doubleheader, the Friday night program features the Southern All Star's East Tour while the Lucas Oil National Auto Racing Association DirtCar Series makes its first appearance at the four-tenths-mile clay oval Saturday night. CRASHCars, an evolution of the former Road Hawg division, will also be in action both nights.
Traditional dirt-track events such as the May 27 Jani-King Southern Showdown for the O'Reilly Southern All Star Racing Series late models and the Oct. 12 Mopar Sprint Car Nationals featuring the sprint cars of the United States Auto Club return. The Freestyle Motocross and Monster Truck events have been combined into one giant show on Saturday night, Aug. 20, while the Northeast Big-Block modifieds will kick off Coca-Cola 600 week with a one-night program on Wednesday, May 25.
New events at The Dirt Track include the CRASHCars Tournament of Thrills on Saturday, Sept. 17, and the World Short-Track Championships, featuring five divisions including the American Sprint Car Series' Carolina Tour, on Oct. 28-29.
Now in its 12th year, the Hardee's Summer Shootout runs each Tuesday night from June 14 to Aug. 16 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. In addition to a full program of Legends Car, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster racing, the 10-week series also includes special attractions such as school bus racing, spectator racing and fireworks.
The Ultimate Short-Track Season Ticket, or individual short-track event tickets, can be purchased by calling the Lowe's Motor Speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS or online at www.lowesmotorspeedway.com.
