ROSEVILLE, CA (9-2-98) - The following is the top 32 drivers in the current California Sprint Car Civil War Race Series championship point standings which are eligible for the second annual Pacific Sprint Cup Invitational at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California.

The Pacific Sprint Invitational is the 10th round of the 13-race Civil War Campaign. The event boasts a $15,000 purse with $3000 going to the winner and $200 to start the A-main. This event will open the 1998 Gold Cup Race of Championship week at the Silver Dollar Speedway and will be run in conjunction with the inaugural Dirt Modified Cup which features the top 22 drivers in the current Silver Dollar Speedway modified point standings.

The top 32 drivers in the Civil War Point standings eligible for the September 16 Pacific Sprint Cup are as follows.
