Princeton, MN - (April 30, 2004) - The Princeton National, a World of Outlaws Sprint Series event scheduled for Princeton, MN in May 2004, continues to develop and evolve as the event draws near. The return to the "big time sprinters" to the state of Minnesota was previewed on Wednesday April 28th as local WoO star Craig Dollansky turned practice laps on the high-banked ¼ oval. A media contingent watched in awe as Dollansky wheeled the # 7 VMAC Maxim around the Princeton Speedway.

Dollansky, an Elk River, MN native, and who's father Bill was a track champion at Princeton, set a new unofficial lap record of 12.021, besting the previous record of 12.089, set in August of 2002 by Bruce DeFries. Dollansky proclaimed, "Look for the record to be set in the higher ten's to lower eleven second bracket when we come here in May. The people behind the changes to this facility have made great strides in preparing this for a World of Outlaws event."

Several of the top World of Outlaws drivers will be on hand for this event including: Danny Lasoski, Donny Schatz, Steve Kinser, Joey Saldana, Daryn Pittman, Jason Meyers, Tim Shaffer and more as they compete for the 2004 World of Outlaws Championship.

The event, The Princeton National, is slated for May 21 & 22, 2004. Tickets are available by calling SLS Promotions at 815-344-2023 or by going online at www.slspromotions.com. Event related information can be found at www.princetonspeedway.com and team info on Craig Dollansky can be found at www.dollanskyracing.com. If you can't catch the action live the watch The Princeton National broadcast on the Outdoor Channel, taped delayed, June 9th at 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
