TULSA, Okla. (October 14, 2003) - Sprint Car fans will have the opportunity to meet two of the contenders on the O'Reilly American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and United Trailers, as current point leader Travis Rilat and Jimmy Taylor will make appearances at a pair of Dallas area Love's Travel Stops this Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Rilat will be at the Love's Travel Stop in Midlothian, TX, at the intersection of US Hwy 67 and 287, while Taylor will be at the Love's Travel Stop in Rockwall, TX, off I-30 Exit 70 at the intersection of I-30 and FM 549.

From Forney, TX, Rilat carries a 34 point lead in the series championship points chase into this weekend's season finale Devil's Bowl Winter Nationals in Mesquite, TX.  Rilat has posted five feature victories in ASCS National competition, along with an ASCS Sooner Regional non-wing victory and a $10,000 triumph in the Kele World Challenge held during the Knoxville Nationals in August.

Taylor, hailing from Oklahoma City, OK, began his rookie campaign on the ASCS Sooner Region trail.  However, after picking up the ASCS National Tour during the competitive Speedweek in early June, Taylor opted to stay on the National circuit.  Taylor's persistence has paid off with several top ten finishes and he has climbed to eighth in series points.

Race fans are encouraged to drop by and meet each of these drivers and get a close look at the cars they'll be racing later that night at Devil's Bowl Speedway.  Racing action is slated to get under way on both Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.
