Empire Super Sprint visit to Canandaigua showcases the first Valvoline Cup A-Main.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- When the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) see the green flag drop on Sat., May 11th for the 20 lap A-Main it marks the first of seven Valvoline Cup feature events. With the addition of the special National point championship backing, the A-Main event will pay the winner $1,300 in cash.
The Valvoline Cup A-Main will also be boosted by many associate sponsorships that will raise the total to well over $2,000 in cash and prizes to the victor. With the addition of the Car-Mate Trailers Winner's Bonus as well as prizes from Extreme Racewear, ATL Fuel Cells, Pro Shocks, Saldana Racing Products, Bicknell Racing Products, Behrent's Performance Warehouse/Mechanix Wear, Hazlitt Vineyards, Hank's Performance Products, Total Seal, Red's Speed Shop, Tire Competition East/ Goodyear Tires, American Racing Tires and Flag2flag.com the 20 tours around the Ontario County Fairgrounds can be very lucrative.
It's the first full point show of the ESS Tour 2002, more than 30 sprinters will fill the pits in hopes to knock off Mike Woodring from his six year strangle hold of the ESS title. May 11th is the date and let the battle begin!
