Hagerstown Octoberest 350 Qualifying

Hagerstown Speedway's Octoberfest 350 fell victim to a slow moving storm which dumped rain on much of the Mid Atlantic region on Sunday. The Small Block Modified and Super Sportsman divisions both got their 50 lap race in the books before the skies opened.

Doug Hoffman won the Small Block Modified feature while Bobby Weaver took home the winner's share of the purse in the Super Sportsman division. Each driver took home $5,000 for their win.

The Octoberfest 350 will continue next Sunday, October 5 with 100 lap races for Late Models and Big Block Modifieds and a 50 lap race for the Sprint cars.

Qualifying for all divisions was held under sunny skies on Saturday at Hagerstown Speedway.

Becca Anderson left Hagerstown early to compete that evening at Lincoln Speedway in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Bill Brian's Weikert #29 car made it to Lincoln at 7:41 p.m., plenty of time to start in Sprint heat four.
