Dewease nets win for J&J Auto Racing.

McKENZIE, TN (March 24) -- Winning races when the opportunity comes is key in the competitive world of sprint car racing. Lance Dewease scored his first win of the season on Saturday at Lincoln Speedway piloting the Al Hamilton #77 J&J leading a solid list of performances by J&J Auto Racing teams.

Lance Dewease took advantage of a good starting spot while he could get one, and wired the field in winning the 25-lap feature at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night. "You've got to take advantage of these good starting spots like this, because in a week or so there's no way we're going to be starting up there," said a happy Dewease upon exiting his Al & Betty Hamilton-owned Manheim Auto Auction #77 J&J in victory lane.

Dewease took the lead at the drop of the green flag and held off some early challenges before winning his 20th career feature at the half-mile oval in Central Pennsylvania. Eleventh-starting Fred Rahmer raced his way to finish third in the Joe Harz Racing #88h J&J and Keith Kauffman finished sixth in the Middleswarth Potato Chips #7 J&J.

Other strong J&J performances:

Daryn Pittman came home second aboard the #21 Sherdon Motorsports J&J in Friday's O'Reilly's World of Outlaws race at Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, MS.

Lance Dewease was one of three J&J drivers to finish in the top seven in Sunday's race at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA. Dewease finished second in the Hamilton Motorsports #77 J&J, while Fred Rahmer finished fourth in the Joe Harz Racing #88h J&J and Keith Kauffman placed seventh driving the Middleswarth Potato Chips #7 J&J.

Tyler Walker and Donny Schatz finished 16th and 18th in the Copper World Classic at Phoenix International Raceway. The teammates were driving for RE Technologies and both were racing newly designed J&J Silvercrown cars. Walker won Saturday's 15-mile in the #35 Curb Records/RE Technologies J&J while Schatz qualified the #115 ParkerStore entry 17th in the field.
