MOTHER NATURE PICKS UP SECOND WIN AT THE PIGEON HILLS OVAL; Super sprints, thundercars & ARDC Midgets on tap next Saturday night

ABBOTTSTOWN, PA, 4/8/00 - Mother Nature became a two-time winner at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night, April 8th, by bringing a heavy dose of rain late in the afternoon to the Pigeon Hills area. With the forecast of rain through the night, and the possibility of freezing temperatures, Lincoln Speedway officials opted to cancel the evening's racing program of super sprints, thundercars and the Northeast Classic Stock Cars. Lincoln Speedway will now shift to 7 PM starts for the next six weeks, beginning next Saturday, April 15th, when they swing back into action with the super sprint and thundercar regulars being joined by the ARDC Midgets. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m., and then followed by heat heats getting underway at 7 p.m.
