Murphy looks for good things on night in Tulare!
(2/25/06 Tulare, CA) The Awesome Aussie, Peter Murphy had a rough evening in the season opener with the National Sprint Tour last evening failing to qualify for the "A" main by one spot. However that is not a bad thing considering this is Murphy's own operation and the paint was not even dry on the car. Peter who will be chasing the championship in the Golden State Challenge with the Team Redi-Green this season brought out the #4 Peter Murphy Motorsports Maxim for the first time last night. Murphy plans to run his own car in events he is not competing with Redi-Green and Tarleton & Sons in 2006.
"We were the only team in the pits in an open trailer." Murphy stated. "Tip of the hat to all my guys for working so hard to get this ready to run this weekend. We just did not have everything ready for last night we are better prepared for this evening. Thanks to Jason (Meyers) and Steve (Kinser) for all their help too. This is an old Elite Maxim and Steve helped in the motor department. I am optimistic for tonight, we found a lot of things last night in the "B" we just had to far to go. Hopefully things are right on track for tonight. No Worries!"
