National Sprint Tour to Winner Speedway
The biggest names in sprint car racing will invade Winner Speedway on Saturday, July 1st. The new National Sprint Tour will feature many of the best sprint car drivers and teams in the world and bring the best in 410-winged Sprint Car racing to Winner, South Dakota.
Lori Fraedrich, promoter, commented on NST coming to Winner Speedway: "What a great way for Winner Speedway to celebrate its 5th Year Anniversary. Winner Speedway is absolutely thrilled to have NST on its schedule and playing a role in America's short track racing. Brownfield Promotions Inc. provided us a tremendous opportunity to host NST. Race fans will be coming from across the states to see some of the most competitive Sprint Car racing in the world. You will see some fast action on the 7/16-banked oval. WSI is looking forward to providing our race fans with a world class racing experience.
Fred Brownfield is a great promoter and his trustworthiness is the essential ingredient of the touring series. We are really excited about the NST series. They are fabulous drivers and have proved themselves on and off the track. The fans are looking forward to the return visit of Shane Stewart and Jason Sides, along with sprint car hot shoes like Steve Kinser, Danny Lasoski, Brian Paulus and much more. The local Thunder and Lightening Sprint Car Division will join the Open-Wheel Stars. Our Street Stock drivers were ecstatic to be the joining class for the July 1st show. It will be a sell-out event!! Winner Speedway and its staff will give area race fans the ultimate racing environment and atmosphere. We are delighted and looking forward to working with NST for the 2006 season."
For the first time, Winner Speedway will sell advance-reserved tickets to the National Sprint Tour so race fans can choose their favorite seat. Reserved seats will go on sale in early spring. Ticket locations will be announced. Watch the WSI website at www.winnerspeedwayinc.com for additional details or call 605-343-2212. Don't miss it!
