Friday NST Wyoming show postponed
ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. -- Weather has forced the postponement of Friday's National Sprint Tour show at Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs.
Friday's program, capped off by a 30-lap feature, will now be run on Saturday. Saturday's program, highlighted by a 40-lap feature, will be run on Sunday.
Front gates will open at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, with racing at 7:30. Those times are bumped up an hour Sunday, with qualifying at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6:30.
Tickets purchased for Friday will be honored on Saturday. Tickets previously purchased for Saturday's show will be honored on Sunday. Tickets are $35 for each night.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.sweetwaterevents.com/specialeventsNST.html or by phone at 307-352-6789 ext. 200. Tickets purchased online can also be printed online.
Forecasts call for the weekend to be drier but cold. The NST souvenir trailer has sweatshirts and coats for the chilly evenings.
