APRIL 10 PLACERVILLE/CHICO RACES CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER
ROSEVILLE, CA 4-10-99 - The officials of John Padjen Motorsports regret to announce that the 1999 Championship season opener scheduled for tonight, April 10 at Placerville Speedway and the NARC Golden State Challenge event scheduled for Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico tonight have been cancelled due to poor weather conditions at both facilities. Racing action is now scheduled to begin at Placerville Speedway next Saturday, April 17 with Pacific Sprint Cars, Pro Stocks and Pure Stocks along with the visiting Sprint 100's Racing Association. Racing will resume at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico on Friday, April 23 with the first championship event of the early rain affected season featuring 410 Sprints, Modifieds and Pure Stocks at this time there is no event scheduled for Silver Dollar Speedway for next Friday, April 16.
