USCS adds July 5th-6th Freedom Fest races at Putnam County Speedway

Atlanta, Ga. - THe United Sprint Car Series will be a big part of the Putnam County Speedway Freedom Fest events on Thursday night July 5th and Friday night July the 6th. The series will run a complete "Outlaw Thunder" tour program each night. The USCS drivers will also run a 40 lap main event on the final night with lap money, bonuses and added prize money from several sponsors for the race.

"We're glad to be near Daytona on Pepsi 400 weekend, so the fans coming down for the NASCAR event can have a chance to come out to Putnam County Speedway and see some great open wheel action while in town for the Winston Cup race," stated series founder and President , Pete Walton. All of the Putnam County regular divisions also share the race card during Freedom Fest.

"Track owner, Bob Potter has really built a showplace her for the fans and drivers here, I think this place is one of the nicest facilities you could put your cheeks down at to watch an automobile race at," concluded Walton.

Directions and ticket info can be obtained by calling the Speedway at 904-649-5210.
