Terry Gray Garners ASCS Rebel Gold at Screven

SYLVANIA, Ga. (September 29, 2007) - Terry Gray posted his first American Sprint Car Series feature win of the season by racing to victory lane in Saturday night's 25-lap ASCS Rebel Region main event at Screven Motor Speedway.

Gray started the feature from the outside front row, but it was polesitter Kenny Adams gunning into the early lead. Adams checked out in the early going, only to surrender the point when he spun in turn two on the ninth round.

Gray assumed the point on the restart and led the rest of the way aboard the Wesmar-powered Rislone Engine Treatment No. 10 J&J, surviving a pair of late cautions to secure the win.

The four-time O'Reilly ASCS National champion was chased to the line by Bryn Gohn, with Michael Miller, current ASCS Rebel Region points leader T.J. Winegardner and Matt Kurtz rounding out the top five.

Tyler Godwin was sixth, with Brent Cole, Matt Linder, Adams and Brian Thomas completing the top ten.
