Tony Jones wins SCRA @ the PAS!

Once again an incredible main event topped off a very fast night of racing. Four different drivers, Tony Jones, Rip Williams, Damion Gardner and Richard Griffin, all lead at one time or another and had the crowd screaming their approval. Griffin had a flat tire while running third and had to restart at the back and came to tenth. One the next to last restart, Jones was fifth and he dazzled the crowd with a series of moves that carried him ton the checkered flag. Ostling nearly pulled even with him out of the final corner, but for the second straight main event, he took home second place. Gardner edged Williams in a photo finish for third.

Next Saturday (May 25th) Vista Paint will present the NAPA Auto Parts/Auto Trader Magazine SCRA Sprint Cars at The PAS in their traditional salute to the Indianapolis 500 with a 50-lap a main event. Be sure to come out early and meet Steve Ostling who will be signing autographs inside the main spectator gate from 4:00-5:00 PM. The spectator gates will open at 4:00 PM and the first race will be at 7:00. For more information call (909) 940-0134 or visit The PAS website at www.perrisautospeedway.com.
