scra: Team MAXIM Iowa Sprintweek notes

Team MAXIM's Boston Reid led a domination of the SCRA Non-Winged World Challenge event at Oskaloosa, Iowa August 12, earning the biggest payday of his career by winning $30,000 in the Ultimate Challenge.

"This one is for Scott Benic and Bill Davis for giving me such a great opportunity," said Reid. "After crashing at Kokomo this car handles just as well. That's how good my crew is. It feels good to come back and win this big of a race."

Reid drove his Benic-prepped Big MAX to the lead at the start of the 30-lap event and never looked back, earning $30,000 in the process. Reid led the Team MAXIM domination, as second place finisher Matt Westfall drove an identical Scott Benic prepared Big MAX to the runner-up position. Westfall started in the 13th staring spot.

Jac Haudenschild (5th), Wayne Johnson (6th), and Zach Chappell (7th) provided Team MAXIM with five of the top seven finishing positions.
