Benton & McCool Junction Join Sprint Bandits Slate

TULSA, Okla. (February 6, 2004) -- The 2004 Sprint Bandits schedule expanded again today with Auto Tire and Parts Race Park in Benton, MO, and Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE, becoming the most recent venues to join the 2004 Sprint Bandits schedule.

Benton's AT&P Race Park will host the Sprint Bandits twice in 2004, with the first stop set for Wednesday night, May 12, leading into the two-day Sprint Bandits shootout at Little Rock's I-30 Speedway on May 14-15. The Sprint Bandits will then return to Benton's high-speed three-eighths mile oval on August 21.

Four nights prior to the second AT&P Race Park event, Junction Motor Speedway will host the Sprint Bandits first Nebraska outing on Tuesday night, August 17. Among the nation's top new facilities, Junction Motor Speedway's three-eighths mile oval will be a prime stopping point for teams departing the Knoxville Nationals, which concludes just three nights earlier.

"Both AT&P Race Park and Junction Motor Speedway are first-rate facilities. We look forward to visiting both and bringing their fans the best of 410-ci Sprint Car racing," commented Sprint Bandits founder and President Emmett Hahn.

The Sprint Bandits series is set to kick off its inaugural season at Devil's Bowl Speedway on March 19-20 with the 31st Annual Devil's Bowl Spring Nationals, before moving on to Tunica's Delta Bowl Speedway on March 27. Sammy Swindell is among a lengthy list of competitors expected to be on hand for the much-anticipated Sprint Bandits opener at Devil's Bowl.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the events originally slated for Oklahoma City's State Fair Speedway on June 4 and Devil's Bowl Speedway on June 5 have been removed from the schedule at this time. Alternate dates are under consideration and will be announced along with the balance of the 2004 Sprint Bandits schedule soon.

Additional information regarding the Sprint Bandits is available by calling 918-838-3777 or online at www.sprintbandits.com.
