COMP CAMS JOINS SPRINT BANDITS TOUR 'N TOPLESS SERIES

TULSA, Okla. (May 17, 2006)- Celebrating its 30th year in 2006, COMP Cams has signed on as a title sponsor for the upcoming explosive O'Reilly Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless swing through the Midwest, which is set to take place August 8-19.

"We're excited to be on board with Emmett Hahn and the Sprint Bandits," commented COMP Cams spokesman Chris Douglas. "The Sprint Bandits COMP Cams TNT swing includes some of year's biggest and most prestigious 'traditional' Sprint Car events and showcases those cars and drivers at some tracks and locations that only get to see them once a year."

The O'Reilly Sprint Bandits TNT presented by COMP Cams kicks off with Southern Iowa Speedway's Non-Wing Ultimate Challenge on Tuesday night, August 8, in Oskaloosa, IA. The $30,000 to win event is the topless portion of Southern Iowa Sprint Week.

Action resumes a week later with the Second Annual Huskerland Non-Wing 410 Sprint Car Nationals at Nebraska Raceway Park's I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE. The next night, Wednesday, August 16, the wingless warriors move on to Wichita's 81 Speedway, before moving on to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO, on August 17.

The series wraps up with the annual two-night wingless classic at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS, with the Saturday night, August 19, finale featuring a $10,000 winner's share.

For 30 years, COMP Cams has focused on making the highest performance products possible, providing customers with great service, and leading the industry in technical development. Additional information about COMP Cams is available at www.compcams.com.
