Separate points will be kept for the STC, with the driver accumulating the most points throughout those eight events being crowned King of the 2008 ASCS Sprints on Dirt Short Track Challenge.

The final touches are currently being placed to the complete 2008 schedule that will include approximately 25 point events. The schedule for the ASCS Sprints on Dirt's 29th year of competition will be released when the remaining contracts are received.
