Dan Dietrich raced away from the field early and held on late to capture his second 358 feature win at Trail-Way Speedway. Dan raced around early race leader Ken Berwager on lap 3 and proceeded to race away fromt he field.

Meanwhile Dan Dietrich's son and leading Trail-Way feature winner Bill Dietrich was putting on a show of his own. Bill starting 12th in the field was up to 3rd place when the races first caution came out for Troy Becker which spun in turn four.

Dan lead the field back to the green as his son Bill pressured Berwager for the runnerup spot. Caution came back out on the speedway again for Troy Becker and Joey Palmerino which got together in turn

four. Dan again lead the field to the green as son Bill moved by Berwager for second spot. One lap later the yellow returned to the speedway for Joe Ross which stopped inside of turn three.

This set the stage for the father-son battle for the win. On the restart Dan was able to keep his son Bill at bay and as the laps counted down. Bill made several attemps to get by his father but was unable to make the pass.

Yellow came out for the final time with two laps to go for a Billy Heltzel spin in turn two. This gave Bill one last attempt to get by his father for the lead. On the restart Bill made his last bid for the top spot but Dan wasn't about to give up the lead. Dan powered away from Bill on the final lap to score his second victory in as many weeks.
