FAYETTEVILLE, GA - Kenny Adams of Malabar, FL holds a three-point lead over Terry Gray of Bartlett, TN after the first three rounds of the O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series Carolina Thunder Tour, which have shown impressive car-counts. The "Malabar Missile" has followed that up with a third-place finish at I-20 Speedway in Batesburg, SC on April 16, and the 2000 O'Reilly USCS National Champion finished second at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA last Saturday night.

Adams won the O'Reilly USCS Sunbelt Tour championship last season, which has evolved into the O'Reilly Carolina Thunder Tour for 2005.

Gray is another driver that has posted three top five finishes in the first three O'Reilly USCS Carolina Thunder events. The "Bartlett Bullet" took the win last Saturday night at Oglethorpe Speedway Park to go with a third-place finish at Riverside Speedway, and the defending and four-time O'Reilly USCS National Champion finished fifth at I-20 Speedway.

In seventh, 12 points behind Martin, are 17-year-old Stephen Darvalics of Venice, FL, who is also the leading Rookie of the Year candidate, and the 2004 O'Reilly USCS Rookie of the Year 18-year-old R.J. Johnson of Decatur, TN.
