Sprint cars headline February at the PAS.
(JANUARY 13, 2002, PERRIS, CA) While most Sprint Car fans around the nation will be sitting at home shivering in front of their heaters during the month of February, Southern California Sprint Car fans will be doing what they enjoy doing the most. Watching three consecutive weekends of wheel-to-wheel Sprint Car Racing at Riverside County's beautiful Perris Auto Speedway.
The VRA Sprint Cars will headline the show when The PAS hosts its 8th Season Opener with a twilight program on Saturday February 8th. Joining the stars and cars of VRA will be the fast Temecula Valley Mitsubishi Super Stocks, Temecula Valley Pipe and Supply Street Stocks, zany Pick-A-Part Cruisers, California Champ Trucks and the Hornets. Spectator gates will open at 2:00 PM with the first race of the new season at 4:00.
On February 15th, Temecula Valley Pipe and Supply and Vista Paint will present the season opener for the Napa Auto Parts/Auto Trader Magazines SCRA Sprint Cars. On the final Saturday in February, The Pennzoil World of Outlaws will be at The PAS in their only Southern California appearance of 2003.
If those three weekends are not enough, wait until you see what Promoter Don Kazarian has lined up for March 1st. A thrilling Sprint Car doubleheader featuring both SCRA and VRA!!!
Many people around the nation think of warm weather, sunny beaches and car chases when they let their thoughts drift to Southern California. However, as any red blooded Sprint Car fan will tell them, it is also home to awesome wintertime Sprint Car Racing at the beautiful Perris Auto Speedway. Make your plans to be with us now.

Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds approximately one hour east of Los Angeles. Take the 215 Freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go east two and a half miles to the fairgrounds. For further information, please call The PAS office at (909) 940-0134.
