Additions Announced To SCCA SPEED World Challenge Schedule
Speed Touring Car Double at Infineon; Speed GT Double at Mosport

TOPEKA, Kan. (April 22, 2004) -- SCCA Pro Racing announced today the addition of one SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car and one SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT race, which will complete the 2004 SPEED World Challenge schedule.

The first addition finds the SPEED Touring Car Championships competing in two races (Rounds Four and Five) at Infineon Raceway, as part of the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma Presented by Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa July 16-18 in Sonoma, Calif. The series will race once on Saturday and once on Sunday. Bill Auberlen, of Rolling Hills Estates, is the defending SPEED Touring Car race winner at Infineon

The SPEED GT Championships will add a second race at Mosport International Raceway, as part of the Grand Prix of Mosport Aug. 6-8 in Bowmansville, Ontario, Canada. Race one (Round Five) is set for 4:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7 and race two (Round Six) is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8. Floris, Iowa native Phil McClure is the defending SPEED GT race winner.
