Following Tuesday’s announcement that former series champion team TruSpeed is returning to the PWC, team owner Tyler Tadevic has confirmed that rising star Chase will be a fulltime driver in the GTA Sprint division. Dalziel, who scored two wins and finished fifth in the GT category for CRP Racing last year, will partner Chase for PWC’s five SprintX rounds.

Tadevic said: “Ryan is one of the best sportscar drivers in North America and has the experience and speed to help take our team to the top right away. He has actually raced for me on five different occasions, in five series with five manufacturers over the past 15 years.

“Parker is a young talent that has quickly found his way to the podium in PWC competition and this duo could be one of the best on the grid. To say I am excited to get started is an understatement."

Chase, who scored six GTS podiums in a PMG-run Ginetta last year, commented: "I am excited to finally be able to discuss plans for 2018. I have never really experienced the full impact of the silly season but now can officially say that I have. The program was on the radar for quite some time but so were several others. I am happy that it is finally solidified, and I cannot wait to get started.

“To be able to share a car with Ryan Dalziel is a huge opportunity and I am confident that we can make TruSpeed AutoSport and all of our marketing partners proud."

Dalziel, who ran his first career PWC event with TruSpeed AutoSport and raced for Tadevic-run Pacific Coast Motorsports in Champ Car back in 2007, stated: "I have a history with the team and I've been really impressed watching Parker in GTS last year, so I can't wait to get their Audi R8 GT3 on track. I really look forward to helping Parker continue his growth in sportscar racing and to help put the TruSpeed AutoSport brand back on the top level where they belong."

TruSpeed is running ex-Stevenson Motorsports chassis, following the shuttering of the Jacksonville, NC-based team.
