SCCA Pro Racing® Speed World Challenge® Lime Rock Park broadcasts debut on Speed channel this weekend.

TOPEKA, Kan. (May 30, 2003) -- Round Three of the SCCA Speed Touring Car Championship, as well as Rounds Three and Four of the Speed GT Championship, from the May 23-26 Mohegan Sun Presents The Lime Rock Park Grand Prix Weekend at Lime Rock Park, will be broadcast Saturday on Speed Channel at 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Eastern), respectively.

In SCCA Speed GT, Phil McClure goes for three-in-a-row in 2003 when the series rolls into Lime Rock Park for a doubleheader weekend. Look for the battle of American privateers versus German factory efforts to continue with BMW Team PTG drivers Bill Auberlen, Boris Said, Hans Stuck and Justin Marks, and Champion Racing's Randy Pobst and Michael Galati each looking to take their first win of 2003.

In SCCA Speed Touring Car, Sebring winner Bill Auberlen and Pierre Kleinubing, victorious at the most recent round at Mosport, look to continue a Championship battle that may rage all season long. With 51 cars running on the 1.53 mile circuit, how a driver handles slower traffic may be the key to claiming victory.

The SCCA Speed World Challenge Championships are made-for-television series featuring some of the best drivers and production cars in the world, utilizing some of the best aftermarket parts the industry has to offer.
