Mid-Ohio: Team Viper race notes

Auburn Hills, Mich. - Team Viper wrapped up the SCCA Speed World Challenge GT Series event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in style, posting three Top-10 finishes by Viper Competition Coupe machines. Tommy Archer and the 3R-Racing Team took the checkered flag in fourth position to take the top honors for Team Viper. Mike McCann and Stan Wilson finished ninth and tenth to solidify the event effort for Dodge Motorsports. McCann also posted the best finish by a rookie for the event.

Sonny Whelen and Mike Hartley brought their Viper GTS machines across the finish line in 17th and 19th positions to represent the Viper GTS community. Adel Elsayed started the race in 33rd position and picked up 10 spots to finish the event in 23rd position. Elsayed gained more positions that any other Team Viper member throughout the course of the race.
