Kleinubing's Acura TSX Qualifies on Front Row at Road Atlanta

September 23, 2004 - Braselton, Ga. -- Three-time SCCA Pro Racing SPEED Touring Car Champion Pierre Kleinubing qualified his RealTime Racing A-SPEC Acura TSX with a front row starting position for Friday's race at Road Atlanta.

His fastest lap around the 2.54-mile road course was at an average speed of 95.832 miles per hour, second fastest in the field. Qualifying 13th fastest was Matt Plumb in a second TSX.

Mike Van Sicklen will start the race the back of the field in a RealTime Racing Acura RSX, for changing an engine after qualifying because of a missed shift. Nick Esayian will also start from the end of the field in his RSX; he was at Mid-Ohio today, qualifying for the SCCA Runoffs in the T-2 class.

Friday's race takes the green flag at 11:10 a.m. (EDT).
