Woodhouse Performance/Kicker/Viosport Viper finishes 3rd in SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT race and SRT-4 has a tough week finishing 22nd in its debut SCCA SPEED TC race.

The Woodhouse.com/Kicker/Viosport #13 Dodge Viper driven by Bob Woodhouse took an impressive 3rd place finish in the SCCA SPEED GT class at the 54th annual Mobil 1 12 hours of Sebring race weekend. This was the Blair, Nebraska team's first ever podium finish in SCCA SPEED World Challenge. In route to the 3rd place finish Bob earned the B&M Oil Coolers "Cool Move of the Race" award when he overtook James Sofronas on lap 14 going into turn one for third.

"It feels great, really great," said an excited Woodhouse. "In my mind right now, reflecting back over the last three years since we started racing in World Challenge . there have been a few times where you wondered if you're doing the right thing. Now it's easy to say yes. This is awesome," reflected Woodhouse on three years of less fortune.

In regard to his pass of Sofronas Woodhouse commented, "He was doing a great job, wasn't making any mistakes. I kept coming on him, and we came into corner one and I thought, 'yeah, it's time.' So, I came in on the inside of him on corner one, and got far enough ahead to gain the line for the corner and complete the pass."

The Woodhouse.com/Kicker/Viosport #13 Dodge SRT-4 driven by Brian Smith did not have the debut result anticipated in the SCCA SPEED TC race. Engine issues during the week plagued the Woodhouse Performance team and limited its performance. However, the team resolved the issues in time for the race. The SRT-4 had a great start from its 23rd qualifying position passing four or five cars at the start. After several laps Smith was up to 14th and showing signs of a possible top ten finish. The strong run came to an end when an intercooler line came off reducing the Dodge SRT-4's power. Smith continued on to finish the race in 22nd position.

Concerning the start Smith commented, "I nailed the starting lights and had a great launch with just the right amount of wheel spin. I finally had power . this was going to be a fun race." On finishing 22nd Smith said, "Not what we expected, but the Woodhouse.com/Kicker/Viosport Dodge SRT-4 is in one piece and will be ready for a strong performance at St. Pete."
