Brazilian Stock Cars: Felipe Fraga starts ahead

Voxx Racing young ace had put on a good laptime and set the best lap of the Friday practice in Santa Cruz do Sul.

Felipe Fraga set the fastest lap of this Friday free practice in Santa Cruz do Sul for the fifht round of Brazilian Stock Car Championship. The youngster, driving the Voxx Racing car, managed to set 1min19s764 in the best of his 18 laps around the 3.530 km circuit. This Friday was sunny and with temperatures of 20ºC.

Fraga set a time only 0s047 ahead of Daniel Serra (Red Bull). Thiago Camilo, Cacá Bueno and Sérgio Jimenez were among the top-5, in a session that had 20 of the 32 drivers within the same second.

"I trust my team and I knew it was a matter of time to put everything together. We started another weekend in a good shape, and I hope to keep his pace until Sunday. I enjoy very much racing in this track, which is one of the most challenging tracks of the season", Fraga said.

Free Practice number two put the cars on track this Saturday morning at 8 am (Brazilian timezone). Qualifying starts at 12pm.
