TRACK: Atomic Speedway, Kingston, Tenn. (1/3-mile oval).

DAYS: Friday (qualifying and heats) and Saturday (consolation and feature).

TIME: Pit gates open at 3 p.m., grandstands at 5 p.m., and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. each night.

FEATURE: 100 laps, $12,000 to win.

NOTES: The series is back in action after a six-week hiatus following the STARS Florida Speedweeks events at East Bay Raceway near Tampa, Fla. .... its the sixth STARS event at Atomic, and no driver has repeated at the Tennessee track just west of Knoxville .... don't be surprised if several Hav-A-Tampa drivers take advantage of an idle weekend to race at the track where their series will visit Aug. 29-30 ....
