MONTCLAIR, Va. (July 6, 2000) - Mark Plows Motorsports has announced a limited schedule of selected American Speed Association (ASA) ACDelco Series races for the 2000 season with sponsorship from Net2Phone. The team will debut at Chicago Motor Speedway for the USAMeats.com 200 on July 16.

Mark J. Plows, a go-kart and semi-pro rally racer in his native Canberra, Australia, raced Modifieds in 1996 after moving to the United States. In 1997 he campaigned a Grand Stock in the Winston Weekly Racing Series, taking Rookie of the Year honors and winning his first feature event in 1998. He competed in Late Models in 1999.

Mark Plows Motorsports intends to run a full 2001 schedule with Plows contending for the Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year honors.

"We are looking forward to representing Net2Phone in a very competitive series," said Plows, who will be the first Australian to compete in the series. "We have a sponsor making its inaugural appearance in motorsports, a rookie driver and a rookie team coming in with a goal of running in the top-20 in each event. Obviously, we have a lot to achieve and feel that, as a group, we have all the necessary components in place to be competitive and successful.

"We are extremely proud to be associated with Net2Phone and look forward to continuing our association into 2001 and years to come. The competition for Rookie of the Year will be tough in the ASA ACDelco Series and we intend to be among the frontrunners next season for that honor. "

"We've been very impressed by the ability of this sport to transcend all others in terms of brand awareness and that is something that is focal to our industry," said Jacob Wolff, Director of Advertising for Net2Phone, Inc. "Therefore, we find it exciting to have the opportunity to enter the motorsports arena.

"We also see the strength of the dedicated fan and hope that, through this program, our brand awareness will take off. We've really had a knowledge of the importance of feedback and we know this is the way to get and retain a strong brand cognizance as we
continue to grow. This is why we're forging in this direction. "

Net2Phone develops and markets technology and services for IP (Internet Protocol) voice and e-commerce solutions for the web and other IP networks and is recognized as the first company to bridge the Internet with the public switched telephone network, Net 2Phone routes millions of minutes monthly over the Internet. According to a recent study by Frost & Sullivan, Net2Phone leads the Internet telephone services industry with 30% market share.
