Dana Moore Gets the Pole and Division Win

Dana Moore of El Cajon, California started on the pole and won her division Saturday night at Irwindale Speedway. It was Moore's 3rd start at Irwindale and 9th start in the Legends Car Series. Moore had a great start and led the race for several laps. Veteran Legends racers Art Neville and Jim Smith worked their way around Moore about half way through the race. Moore's slight slow down was caused by two jam nuts that came loose causing the steering to change during the race. "About half way through the race I was having trouble steering and there was a loud noise coming from the right front wheel. It slowed me down some but I was able to keep up for the duration of the race." Said Moore. Its not the first time Moore sat on the pole on the ninth race in a series. She claimed the pole at Road Atlanta in the Womens Global GT Series on the ninth race also. Dana Moore and her team are hoping to keep the momentum going when they return this Saturday night to their hometown track at Cajon Speedway.
