SUSSEX, Wis. - Mark Dismore and the Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com team plan on heading to Toledo Speedway this Sunday with the positive attitude that has carried them to one top-5 and two top-10 finishes this year. While their finish at last week's ASA ACDelco Series race at Salem (Ind.) Speedway wasn't newsworthy, the confidence Dismore has in this team is admirable.
"Toledo is another track I have yet to visit," Dismore said, "but I remain confident that the Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet can pull off a top-5 finish this weekend. We had some unfortunate luck at Salem last week, but we're focused on Toledo now and we're going to give it our best shot. This team is determined to get us back in the hunt for the rookie of the year title and I believe we can do it."
Although the 31st place finish at Salem was disappointing, Dismore and the Herzog Motorsports team know their time is coming. "Each week, Howie (Lettow, Crew Chief) and the guys prepare a car that is capable of winning or at least a top-5 finish," Dismore continued. "I've just been a victim of circumstances a few times too many and eventually it will have to stop. We've reached the second half of the season and I hope this is the point that turns it around for us."
