Potomac Speedway drivers off for Demolition Derby.
Budds Creek, Md. -- The dirt track drivers had the week off as the Silver Hill Lions Club sponsored Demolition Derby took to the track at Potomac Speedway. The racing action will resume this Saturday, June 8th for the fourth I.T.S.I. Budweiser Super Late Model series feature, the 40-lap $2000 to win Cody Endicott Memorial, along with the regular show.
The track will be switching to the summer time schedule with pit and grandstand gates opening at 5:30 p.m., and racing starting at 7 p.m. verses 6 p.m. The summer time schedule makes for better conditions for the track, and fans, drivers, and crews enjoy cooler temperatures in the stands.
