Texas Super Racing Series and Texas Pro Sedans Invade Thunder Hill Raceway

Saturday, June 18th, Thunder Hill Raceway will be hosting the Texas Super Racing Series for the Operation Interdependence® 100 benefiting American military around the world and the Texas Pro Sedans who are celebrating their 30th Anniversary this season. The good news for Central Texas race fans is there are no other touring series appearing anywhere else in the state, which means Thunder Hill fans will be treated to a great show from these two series.

The Texas Super Racing Series point battle will heat up as current point leader, Jeff Pollard tries to hold off Lloyd Alexander, Ian Webster, David White and Ryan Engelhardt who trail Pollard by 135 points or less. Top dog among the Texas Pro Sedan stars right now is Lalo Leal, but Bill Labarge, Sergio Hexsel, Jesse Sandoval and Donnie Moore are all close behind.

A special "15 Minutes of Giving" will be held during intermission giving fans attending a chance to join with Operation Interdependence® and let out brave service men and women know we care. Fans are encouraged to bring items to be sent to our troops. Some suggested items are beef jerky, books, camper style foods, candy, Chapstick, cookies, dental floss, disposable cameras, facial tissues, hot sauce packets from fast food restaurants, flashlights, gum, magazines, moist wipes, music CDs, small Nerf Toys, Odor Eaters for boots, pencils, pens, phone cards, playing cards, postage, powdered drink mixes that are non alcoholic, razors, sardines, stationary, snacks, tea bags, toiletries, toothbrushes, travel games, travel mugs, tuna snack kits or Vienna sausages. Please note that all food items must be manufactured sealed. Fans are also encouraged to write our soldiers encouraging notes of support to remind them they are missed and appreciated for their service.
