HAGERSTOWN, MD. USAR Hooters ProCup driver Eric Corbett brings home his worst finish ever from Illiana Motor Speedway, Schererville, IN. Corbett qualified the Clean & Shine, Larry & Son's Ford Taurus in the sixth position for the Miller Lite 250.
The green flag dropped at 7:30 with Jeff Agnew on the pole with an impressive new track record of 20.310 and Brian Ross sitting on the outside position.
On lap 62, the Clean & Shine, LSI Ford Taurus rear end broke and was done for the evening. This was the first race since Corbett's start in USAR that he has gone out so early in the evening. Corbett fell to the third place in the Northern Division Points standing.
The race was slowed 16 times for 82 laps of caution during the evening.
Agnew took the checkered and brought home his second win of the season after a string of bad luck earlier in the season. Davis, Goodson, Baker, and Fogleman rounded out the top five.
Speed Channel will air the Illiana Speedway race this Wednesday, August 13th at 10PM.
